I've been getting the same question over and over about how to stream multiple GoPro cameras using this MonaServer Setup. Since MonaServer only allows 1 connection, I found a simple way to get multiple cameras working.
I have the GoPro Hero 2, Hero 4 Silver, and Hero 7 Black. The Hero 2 and Hero 4 would have the Battery BacPac connected and be charged over Mini USB using a DECENT cable and a DECENT charger. Been burned by using cheaper cables or chargers for this. The Hero 7, if I'm not mistaken, is the last one that has built in HDMI port and has a Type-C
Gopro Webcam "Camera Network Error". This a new and exciting problem that i cant seem to figure out. I have a dell workstation pc in my studio that is my video editing and 3d modeling computer (i am a custom metal fabricator and designer). Until recently, the gopro webcam app was working well, integrating properly with obs studio and zoom calls.
Not having used live streaming there was little lerning curve and the Hero * with Media Mod is still new so there's not much documentation on it. Now I am waiting for a goosneck adapter to attach the GoPro to my monitor for the best position. Obviuously using the GoPro gives me a second camera and one that's not permanently attached to the screen.
Make sure you have this cable and watch GoPro on TV with the following steps. Step 1. Power on the camera and the TV. Step 2. Plug one end of the cable into the micro HDMI port of the camera body. Note, since GoPro HERO 8 Black, the HDMI port is only equipped in the Media Mod. Step 3. Plug the other end to the HDMI input of your TV set. Step 4.
