In general HRM on the wrist (optical HRM) has some drawbacks compared to a chest strap: The reading is usually delayed, i.e. you look at the screen of your device, you don't see the reading as of right now. This means that for exercise where you want live readings, you should go with a chest strap. The delay seems to be around 15-20s for most

The intensity minutes is based on heart rate levels. If your levels are set too high for your fitness level or age, you wont get credit. The best thing to do is monitor your HR during a rather difficult workout, look at the peak, and set your levels manually to that. Then your intensity will be more meaningful to your heart rates.

Also, you cannot use the Fenix to bridge ANY signal to Zwift. My guess is that since it is an older Garmin cadence sensor that it is ANT+ only.
Take the battery out, replace it reversed for a few seconds, then replace it the right way round and try again. Make sure you thoroughly wet the strap first to give you a better chance of connecting it. …. rugby4all over 4 years ago in reply to AJRykala +1. Be aware that it wipes all saved wireless network and bluetooth device connections. So my Garmin HRM-Dual heart rate monitor connects to the ZWIFT mobile app on my Android phone, but no hear rate is showing.

That seems indeed very abnormal as heart rate change is not in relation to your effort when running uphill. In my case (average) heart rate is overall too high compared to the same run (distance intensity) when temperatures were higher. Yesterday it was only around 7 degrees C. Before this run temperatures were still between 14 and 20.

I don´t know what happened but the heartrate monitor disabled itself then randomly comes on again. Currently I don´t even get a reading of my heartrate during sport activities or throughout the day (Sleep, stress levels, heart rate etc).
